Hi, if you're reading this, you have found the profile of the most dedicated actor you will ever lay eyes on. I'm Mandy-Cait, and I love to act so much, it hurts. I am 15!, and my ultimate goal is to work with Disney Channel, to sign on with "the Mouse." I work on the computer every day trying to find auditions with Disney and Nickelodeon. My family doesn't have as much money as we would like, but if need be, I will travel to be in a film or show. (Depending on the show.) I was born in California, near Hollywood. I have been to auditions, and I have gotten callbacks, but have not been able to attend them due to a stomach virus. Then I moved to Washington state and found no opportunities for acting in my small town. So we moved to Texas, just north of Austin, and I hope to pursue my dream!
My goal..no, my DREAM, is to work with Disney Channel. (I would also like to work with Nickelodeon.) I will do almost any job to get more experience, though. I am searching for an agent, so If you are aware of a good agent around Austin, Texas, please, please, please notify me!
I checked out the site and i must say it looks promising! They really seem like they wont let "just anybody" in. And thats the kind of agency you want. If you find one that'll take pretty well anyone ( like John Robert Powers for instance ) then they probably wont take you very far. You'd be just a number and not a client. I think you should go for it! Do you have your resume and headshot to send them? Also make sure you give your email and phone number!! Or they wont even consider you! And when you send your pics make sure they are not embedded into the email, make it either a link to a site, or an attachment. Hope this helps my dear!
